A&R Tarpaulins named Small Business of the Year

A&R Tarpaulins Inc., a Fontana, Calif., manufacturer of technical and engineered fabric products, architectural fabric products, and tarp and industrial fabric products, was named Small Business of the Year for the 2014 California Small Business Day celebration in Sacramento, Calif. Senator Norma Torres, Senate District No. 32, selected the company, which is one of 80 small businesses receiving senate district awards; California is home to 3.3 million small businesses. The company will be honored for its contribution to the state through job creation and more. “Truly, our growth and success is directly tied to our team,” said A&R president Carmen Weisbart. “Their vision, passion and dedication are the reasons we’ve been in business since 1976. This award belongs to them.”
