Global Garage five-year anniversary

Global Garage LLC, a Louisville, Ky., online marketplace for buying and selling used wide and grand format printing equipment and accessories, recently celebrated the company’s five-year anniversary. Founded in 2009, Global Garage now has more than 1,200 customers in 37 states and 25 countries, with 40 percent of the company’s business consisting of international trade. “We do about 110 large and grand format printer transactions a year, and we couldn’t do that without the help and support of our customers and dealer network,” says Mike Altreuter, president of Global Garage. The company’s print head cleaning services and parts divisions also claim solid growth, with 20 percent of the Global Garage’s gross sales.
