Cleveland-based Ohio Awning and Manufacturing Co. is celebrating its 150th anniversary with a new space and plans for its first customer showroom.
The company is leaving its home of 85 years—a 78,000-square-foot factory—for an even larger and more customer-conscious space. To help customers select among hundreds of awning options, the company will open a 4,500-square-foot showroom in July.
“What has remained constant since 1865 is craftsmanship,” says Andrew Morse, CEO. “We custom make each residential and commercial awning to reflect individual ideas and needs. The new space will allow us to maintain our craftsmanship, while increasing our capacity for innovation.”
