No-slip Kevlar® shears

An ergonomic scissors is specially designed for precise cutting of aramid woven cloth fabric, with tapered cutting blades that have one serrated edge for gripping the slippery fibers and a sharp edge for cutting them. Xuron® Model 9180 Kevlar Shears produce a clean, straight cut, recommended for splicing applications, and feature cushioned rubber handles and a return spring for user comfort. The shears fit comfortably in either hand, offering an ergonomic alternative for assembly workers, and can also be used for aramid fiber insulation and fishing line. Designed for a long service life, the blades are heat-treated to Rc 58–60.
