Teijin Frontier Co. Ltd., the Teijin Group’s fiber-product converting company based in Osaka, Japan, will support Oxfam Trailwalker Tohoku 2015, an international fundraising event to be held July 11 – 12 in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan.
Oxfam Trailwalker is a worldwide endurance-walking event that has been held annually since 2007. In addition to its anti-poverty mission, the event will also support ongoing regional reconstruction efforts following Japan’s earthquake in 2011.
As a sponsor, Teijin Frontier will provide event participants, volunteers and staff with 1,400 T-shirts made of Deltapeak®CR, an all-season material that significantly reduces discomfort from sweating during sports. The knitted fabric has a three-layer structure featuring water-repellent polyester fiber on the side facing the skin.
