Mutoh expands dye-sublimation printer line

Mutoh America Inc., Phoenix, Ariz., has added the ValueJet 1938WX to its line of dye-sublimation printers.

The VJ 1938WX is a 74-inch printer designed for products such as scarves, uniforms, blankets, trade show graphics and soft signage. Featuring staggered dual heads, it offers 1440 dpi images at print speeds up to 1,327 square feet per hour. It also automatically cuts the material when the print is done, and includes Mutoh’s Intelligent Interweave printing technique to help eliminate banding, DropMaster ink technology and the ValueJet Status Monitor app for mobile printer monitoring.
