The award caps the annual association meeting at IFAI Expo.
In addition to gracing the cover of the October issue of Specialty Fabrics Review magazine, Robert L. Cole of Goodwin-Cole Co. Inc., Sacramento, Calif., received the IFAI Chairman’s Award at the culmination of this year’s annual meeting at IFAI Expo.
The Chairman’s Award is a special award for IFAI, formerly called the President’s Award of Merit. This award is given infrequently, and only when the chairman of the association feels there is an individual worthy of special recognition for his or her unique contributions to the industry.
Outgoing chairman Dave Clarke, TenCate, said: “This award is for those who go above and beyond—who are exceptional in their businesses, in their industry, and in their communities and personal lives. This is why we are where we are today—pioneers like these.”
