Designtex, a New York, N.Y.-based manufacturer of fabrics for upholstery and commercial and institutional interiors, has partnered with Vescom B.V. to launch a curated portfolio of Designtex textiles into the European and South American markets.
Based in Deurne, Netherlands, Vescom develops and distributes interior products for the international contract market. The partnership combines a selection of high performing Designtex products with Vescom’s strong global sales and distribution abilities. Designtex products became available through Vescom on Oct. 9.
“A guiding principle for Designtex products is that they respond equally to the demands of aesthetics and of utility, creating a seamless synthesis between the two,” says Susan Lyons, president of Designtex, “and that’s exactly what this collection of textiles does.”
