Coolcore signs distribution agreement with ITOCHU

Coolcore, Portsmouth, N.H.-based manufacturer of chemical-free cooling and moisture transportation fabrics, has entered into an exclusive relationship with Tokyo’s ITOCHU Corporation to distribute Coolcore fabric and finished goods throughout Japan.

According to the agreement, ITOCHU will be the exclusive Japanese distributor for the entire collection of Coolcore cooling fabrics, designed for the everyday, workwear and athletic apparel markets. ITOCHU will also distribute Coolcore’s instant-cooling towel and can manufacture and distribute Coolcore branded apparel.

The distribution agreement may be expanded with additional products and territories in the future. Financial terms were not disclosed.
