In response to the wildfires sweeping through Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada, the American Rental Association (ARA) Foundation has donated $3,000 to the Canadian Red Cross to assist in relief efforts for affected families, businesses and communities. The donation is a part of the Disaster Matching Funds Program and matches a donation previously made by the Canadian Rental Association (CRA). “Our disaster relief and recovery programs, of which the Disaster Matching Funds Program is a component of, are a true example of what the ARA Foundation represents to our industry,” says Jenni Swanson, ARA Foundation director of development. Founded in 1976, the ARA Foundation is a recognized leader for philanthropic support in the rental equipment industry.
