Netherlands–based Stahl recently achieved bluesign® system partner status. The formalization underlines the company’s commitment to produce textile products in the
most sustainable way. The system unites participants throughout the supply chain to jointly reduce their impact on people and the environment. Using an approach called Input Stream Management, the bluesign system helps its partners to properly manage chemicals and replace hazardous chemicals with safer alternatives. Stahl will optimize management systems for environmental performance in five key areas: resource productivity, consumer safety, water emissions, air emissions, and occupational health and safety.
