STRETCHABLE STRENGTH

Under tension, new WeatherMAX 3D stretches 30–100 percent—and when released, it goes back to its original size. The high-performance outdoor technical fabric, an engineered polymer, is 100 percent solution-dyed for color consistency, durability and long-term UV- and fade-resistance. HydroMAX finish makes the fabric water-resistant while retaining softness, pliability and breathability. Recommended for sun shades, protective covers and other applications requiring outdoor durability and elasticity.

Uniquetex is a joint venture company that manufactures and supplies various spunbond polypropylene nonwovens, spunbond polyester nonwovens and bi-co nonwovens for use in medical, hygiene and industrial applications.

LIGHTWEIGHT DURABILITY

Engineered for the tent rental market, strong and durable Shelter-Rite Tent^™ fabric is 20 percent lighter than the industry standard, according to the manufacturer, allowing for easier handling and cleanability. It’s also easier to install, reducing the physical labor required for rental companies. Seaman will offer fabricated custom panels, colors and widths to meet project and customer specifications.

Eco-friendly arts

A range of specially coated fabrics made up of synthetic or natural fibers, Decoprint^® textile solutions allow print businesses to use their existing UV, latex and solvent printers to create textile graphics. Designed for print and spray applications, the fabrics allow graphics businesses to diversify into textiles without needing to immediately invest in new equipment. PVC-free and environmentally friendly.

Lightweight logo

The Decolit 251 line of print fabrics uses lightweight materials that hang flat and will not stretch or curl at the edges. The fabrics are manufactured with Précontraint^® technology that maintains the material under tension throughout the manufacturing cycle. Decolit is available in two backlit options and is flame-retardant and 100 percent recyclable with Texyloop^®. Recommended applications for Decolit are displays and banners.

SOFT SERVICE

Serge Ferrari One is a durable but exceptionally soft upholstery fabric designed for demanding indoor and outdoor environments: hospitality, yachting and contract seating. Oil-resistant and easy to clean, it’s phthalate-free and fire-retardant. Now available in 25 colors, with a choice of smooth or grain finish. Seven-year warranty offered.

TARPS AND TRUCKING

Précontraint^® 705LT trucking and industrial tarp material is designed to withstand temperatures as low as –58 F (cold crack resistance, ASTM D791), offering long-term durability and tear strength, dimensional stability, UV resistance, the ability to fold flat and excellent weldability. The yarns and coating of the lightweight, flexible composite are specially formulated for performance in cold conditions. Recommended for applications such as truck tarps and freezer curtains. The material is also printable, as well as recyclable at the end of
its service life.

Shade with privacy

A new screen fabric provides shade and privacy, and absorbs up to 97 percent of the heat from solar radiation while allowing the passage of light. Tempotest StarScreen^® is available in 11 designer colors to add to the aesthetics of any structure, and can be used indoors or outdoors. Made from recyclable PET solution-dyed yarns, the fabric is PVC-free and fire-retardant, fade-resistant and treated with Teflon^™ for easy cleaning.

Specialty screening

Full line of ortho-phthalate-free screening is Greenguard Gold certified, easy to install for use on windows, doors, patios, pool cages, screen porches and gazebos. ADFORS screening uses both fiberglass and polyester yarns, providing increased strength and durability without compromising visibility, allowing more light and airflow with a reduced wind load. Available in 100-foot contractor rolls in widths up to 106 inches, with a 7-year warranty.

Strong, thin and flat

Serge Ferrari’s Soltis line of shade fabrics, available with openness factors of 14 percent, 8 percent, 4 percent and opaque, can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications, for screens, awnings, retractables and pergolas. Offering exceptional dimensional stability, the fabrics will not stretch or curl, and the edges will not fray. Thin and lightweight, manufactured using patented Précontraint^® technology, the materials use smaller tubes and motors, but provide long-term durability, even in extreme climates.

STYLING SHADE

Vineyard, a decorative awning collection by Keyston Bros., is 100 percent reversible. The collection is made from Sunbrella^® awning yarns, on a jacquard loom, and the width of the fabric is 54 inches. It passes California #117 and is
offered in five colors.

Solar versatility

Designed for shade sails and outdoor visual communication, SunSilk Perla is a lightweight PVC-free fabric that makes handling and fabricating easier. It is waterproof, shrinkproof and provides maximum UV protection. A fluorocarbon
finish holds airborne pollutants at bay, keeping the fabric clean and fresh-looking with
minimal maintenance.

VuScreen is a versatile fabric designed primarily for solar screens or shade sails. Fluorocarbon-treated yarns keep the fabric fresh and clean-looking with minimal maintenance. VuScreen comes in a metalized version which increases solar reflectivity.
The yarns are non-absorbent and the open weave allows water and air to easily transpire, making it well-suited for
fast-drying cushions for
sling-type furniture.

FOR ADVERSE CLIMATES

Spun-dried polyester for marine applications is engineered for the toughest climates; the fabric is PVC-free but virtually waterproof—will not leak even after a week of standing water. High-tech 37+ fabric will not permanently stretch or shrink, and returns to its original shape after being distorted by heavy wind and water. It also does not fray after being cut, so hot knifing is not needed, and the yarns are treated with UV inhibitors, anti-fungal agents and Teflon^™ for minimum maintenance and ultimate protection from sun and sea. Fully recyclable.

TECHNICAL APPAREL

Line of performance knits features both fire-retardant and fast-drying antimicrobial fabrics that provide protection, comfort and durability; currently available in various weights that can be tailored in a garment depending upon the intended environment. The Berry-compliant fabrics also offer 4-way stretch, wicking, breathability, shrink resistance, pick resistance, odor resistance and pill resistance, and are recommended for use in the outdoor, military, tactical and apparel markets.

Heat Shut is a tent material that has a high heat-shielding effect. With its light-shielding layer, it offers more thermal insulation and makes a comfortable space with reduced sunlight. Recommended for home and shop awnings.

Designed for the wide-format print market, DigiCompetition is a lightweight display fabric engineered with a print-receptive coating. The fabric is wrinkle-resistant and recommended for use with a variety of ink chemistries. It is REACH-compliant and meets NFPA 701 FR specifications.

DigiPanorama has a uniquely formulated coating that enhances the performance of graphics when printed with latex inks. It is REACH-compliant, meets NFPA 701 FR specifications and provides options in ink compatibility for both UV and latex. The knitted polyester blend is recommended for the retail graphics market.

Shade with security

Monotec 370 FR Fire-Retardant Shadecloth is engineered to pass stringent fire-retardant tests including California Title 19, ASTM E-84 Class A and NFPA-701. It uses only 100 percent round monofilament yarns, has increased stability and retains permanent shape and design to allow for consistent protection against the elements. Available in eight FR standard colors and five non-FR designer colors.

TENSILE PROTECTION

Sioen Fluomax Series of vinyl products, distributed by Value Vinyls, includes double-side knife-coated fabrics built for strength and durability in tensile architecture applications. Designed to provide low wicking and resist moisture, the fabrics are also stable, abrasion-resistant, strong, seamless and sustainable. Unique coating process coats the front and back in one run, avoiding unfavorable thermal or mechanical shocks during the process, assuring
a tough, quality material.

VERSATILE PRIVACY

Avila Twilight privacy shade can be utilized for both interior and exterior design with complete light control. The shade is offered in nine colors and is treated with Duraguard^® Fabric Protector to resist stains and Sanitized^® Antimicrobial Protection to resist mold and mildew. It is fire-resistant and eliminates up to 96 percent of glare and shadows.

Engineered for safety

Verseidag duraskin^® B4915 is recommended for frame, tension and air-supported structures, manufactured as both PVC/polyester and PTFE/fiberglass materials. PVC/polyester materials are offered in various weights and colors and have either a weldable PVDF or acrylic topcoat. PTFE/fiberglass materials have superior flame resistance and life expectancy.
