MINI Cooper owners with the spirit of the open road can carry their tent with them and erect it right on top of the car. Designed by AUTOHOME®, an Italian specialist in automobile roof tents, the Air Top™ Roof Tent works with the MINI Countryman and other models.
The beauty of the design is that it essentially integrates with the top of the car for quick set-up and the ability to “camp” wherever you are. The two-person tent is mounted using MINI roof rails—no tools are required to install. The shell is 100 percent fiberglass and features aerodynamic lines for minimal air resistance and noise. Made of Airtex®, the tent covering is rain- and tear-resistant yet provides ventilation to keep it comfortable and insulated from noise.
The Air Top Roof Tent sets up quickly: just release the safety clasps in the front and rear and four gas-pressure springs automatically raise it in seconds. Knock-down is equally as simple. An aluminum ladder is included to climb aboard. A high-density mattress with a cotton cover, cushions, a battery-operated LED interior light, and luggage nets and pockets to stow personal items are included.
