The 2018 Smart Fabrics Summit will be held on April 24, 2018, in Washington, D.C., at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. Co-hosted by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI), the goal of the summit is to foster greater collaboration among the U.S. apparel, technology and textile industries and to identify the public policies that can help to accelerate the design and manufacture of smart fabrics products by U.S. companies.
The theme of this year’s summit is “Smart Fabrics: Getting Smarter. Emerging Trends in Research, Technology and Public Policy.”
