On Saturday, July 28th, the second annual 30 Under 30 Award Ceremony and Art Showcase took place at Court Street Square in San Bernardino, Calif. The ceremony, hosted by Assembly member Eloise Gómez Reyes, brings together 30 hardworking men and women who are under the age of 30, and who exemplify dedication, innovation and service within the 47th assembly district.
Among the winners is Jessica Gunawan, nominated by Bud and Carmen Weisbart, the owners of A&R Tarpaulins Inc. (dba AR Tech and AR Industries). Ms. Gunawan was nominated for many honorable reasons, including her hard work as the newly appointed architectural project manager at A&R Tarpaulins. When not working, she donates her time to give back to the community, and participates in several nonprofit organizations, including: Food on Foot, where Jessica and her son donate food and give words of encouragement to homeless people in need; Justice Speaks, a nonprofit organization to help stop human sex trafficking; and 10 Cent Meal Mission, which does fundraising to sustain food programs in the Philippines.
The 30 Under 30 Awards was a proud moment for A&R Tarpaulins, according to the Weisbarts, who were able to witness one of their newest employees be recognized for all of her many accomplishments. They offer congratulations to Jessica and all the other award winners for their accomplishments and the inspiration they offer to others.
