AATCC has won an Apex award for its September/October 2017 feature article by Kilara Le in the AATCC Review. The annual Apex Awards are sponsored by Communications Concepts Inc. More than 1,400 entries were submitted for the 2018 contest with 556 Awards of Excellence and 100 Grand Awards presented recognizing exceptional and outstanding work. “Microfiber Shedding: Hidden Environmental Impact” was selected for an Award of Excellence in writing in the subcategory of Green Writing. This latest award is a welcomed addition to the many previous Apex and Tabbie Awards for writing that the Association’s publications have received over the years.
