Eastman Machine Company, provider of cutting machine technologies, and ExactFlat, a provider of 3-D to 2-D digital patterning software, are collaborating to increase the efficiency of preparing and cutting patterns with digitally printed graphics. ExactFlat 3-D to 2-D digital patterning software creates flat patterns with graphics perfectly aligned. Once 2-D patterns are created, they can be exported and cut on Eastman’s automated cutting systems. Equipped with visionPRO, these systems combine a high-resolution camera with state-of-the-art software algorithms to scan pattern contours. The result is accurate cut paths around patterns.
