Michael Woody, CEO of Trans-Tex, Cranston, R.I., is featured on “Executive Suite,” a local Fox television affiliate based in Providence, R.I. The interview focused on the Rhode Island Textile Innovation Network, of which Woody is president. Woody, who is also chairman of IFAI’s Narrow Fabrics Institute, talks about tariffs on end products, why textiles are crucial to the RI economy and how job training is being improved. He also presented “Dave,” a manikin wearing tactical military apparel that showcases advanced textiles made in Rhode Island. The interview can be seen online.
