Coastline Plus^® Awning Fabric is a high-performance PVC textile engineered for commercial and residential awnings and canopies. Mildew, stain and dirt-resistant, it also features a proprietary top coating that supports most types of graphics, including pressure-sensitive vinyl lettering for
sign decoration.

Herculite Products Inc.

SunTex^® 95 exterior shading fabric offers style and durability for sun shades, roller shades, window awnings or rollup shades. A new hue, Stucco, joins a roster of nine neutral color options designed specifically for exterior roller shade applications, made from vinyl-coated polyester in a full basketweave. Blocks approximately 95 percent of the sun’s rays, to control heat and glare, and lower cooling demand and energy costs. SunTex 95 fabrics are infused with Microban^® antimicrobial product protection to combat mold and mildew, and are also certified to GREENGUARD standards for low chemical emissions.

Micro-suede with knit backing, YMICROSUEDE is used in the production of pet beds and furniture upholstery, providing a soft hand and DWR finish at an economy price. Versatile, durable and water-repellent, it can be treated with a variety of finishes and coatings and ordered in custom colors and prints.

The HG Series architectural material offers superior dirt resistance, UV protection and water-repellency. Available in Standard, Metallic, Heat Shield, Block Out and High Light Transmission.

Acrobat^® with Mira-S^™ is a stretch fabric for graphics, tension structures and projection surfaces that offers an alternative to the limitations of spandex and mechanical stretch polyester products. The fabric is suitable for outdoor applications and has excellent stretch and recovery, light fastness, dyeing properties, high chemical resistance and a soft touch with no need for companion fibers, unlike spandex.

Natura^™ Awning Fabric is engineered for outdoor commercial awnings and canopies. The technical textile features the look, feel and aesthetic features of a natural, woven cloth on both the face and reverse sides of the fabric with the performance attributes and benefits of an engineered thermoplastic. Flame-resistant, waterproof and mildew/fungal-resistant, the fabric can be sewn or welded and framed over appropriate awning structures.

Solarlite 300 Supreme is a lightweight, durable fabric for outdoor applications such as patio furniture, marine boat tops and recreational vehicle covers. Available in nine stock colors.

Stafford Textiles Limited

PremoBond is a line of filament-bonded polyester sewing thread that uses a proprietary bonding blend for less breakage and fraying in marine and outdoor markets. With yarn that’s approximately 30 times stronger than the current industry standard, it offers maximum UV protection and is able to withstand heat, humidity and all-weather conditions.

Trivantage

Designed to resist the harshest environments, Stamskin One handles extreme temperatures (-58°F to 302°F) and is insensitive to UV radiation and water. Formulated by Serge Ferrari, the elastomer gives it an ultra-soft touch and “peach skin” effect while combining high-performance thermal comfort.

Rex Pegg Fabrics

Used in products for outdoor retail, occupational safety, health care and orthopedics, Style 601PCM works as a comfort layer against the back (eg., in backpacks) as cushioning, and features a cooling layer that the wearer can feel (even through a shirt). Its cooling technology combines with breathability
to make it a comfortable choice for users.

Style 800PN is a cut-resistant material (to ANSI Level II), with a knit construction that allows airflow to help keep the user comfortable. High-visibility colors help to keep workers safe in the workplace.

High-visibility, lightweight, breathable 413 fabric (also available in black) offers protection from ticks and tick nymphs. Used in an outdoor setting, it is water-repellent, fire-resistant and (in the black material) UV-resistant.

Combining the performance of Aqualon^® Edge with the protection of a soft warp-knit backing, Aqualon Edge Soft provides cover for boats, patio furniture, RV windshields and other applications. It features a front fabric coated with Perfecta Marine^® technology for UV performance and heat reduction/ reflection and a backing made of warp-knit polyester fabric for an abrasion-resistant surface.

SolaMesh^™ is a performance fabric recommended for shade sails, shade and fabric structures, awnings and other applications. Made from highly stable and colorfast HDPE monofilament tape, it has been tested in the world’s harshest environments including the Australian Outback and the deserts of the Middle East. Supported by a 10-year warranty.

TOP NOTCH FR^® was specially created for applications needing flame-resistance and unrivaled durability, tear, water and abrasion resistance. The fabric can be used for many outdoor applications such as commercial, residential and industrial awnings, tents and canopies. Solution-dyed fabric is flame-retardant using a halogen-free flame retardant system, a first for the industrial fabrics industry.

Top Gun FR Lite is an 8-ounce version of the popular Top Gun FR. The lighter fabric is easier to work with as it is less stiff and handles easily. Top Gun FR Lite passes CPAI 84, NFPA 701 and California State Fire Marshal Title 19. The fabric is available in many colors, including red, and is among the most cost-competitive FR fabrics for the awning and tent markets. Completely reversible, printable and eco-friendly.

Top Gun FR is a 13-ounce awning and tent fabric that passes CPAI 84, NFPA 701, FAA/FAR 25.853, CAN/ULC-S109-03, and California State Fire Marshal Title 19. The product is completely reversible, has a consistent coating that is eco-friendly, easy to cut and sew with no fraying, and provides proven performance. White fabric stays white and the fabric is easy to clean, printable and weldable. Made in the U.S., providing a Berry Amendment-compliant product.

Durable, flexible and washable, with a special embossed design for skid-resistant traction and gripping, Treadway can be used for RV stairs, roofs, cargo ramps, sports equipment and geomembranes, among other applications. Self-adhesive Treadway Peel-N-Stick suits uses where heat sealing cannot be used; Treadway PE adheres to any polyethylene material. Material can be manufactured in varying thicknesses, widths and colors, as PVC, SEBS or polyethylene.

ENGINEERED POLYMER TECHNOLOGIES

Snyder Manufacturing and Keyston Bros. Inc. have introduced Coolshade Premium Awning Fabric, an American-made laminated vinyl for awning and cover applications. Available through Keyston Bros., Snyder’s Coolshade is available in 15 standard colors and 50-yard rolls. With high tensile and tear strength, the fabric has a wick-resistant scrim and excellent stability with mildew-resistance, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. Photo courtesy of Childres Canvas Products Inc.

Snyder’s Coated Mesh contains anti-bacterial agents, mildew inhibitors, and UV and heat stabilizers. Unlike some mesh products that are woven from knitted PVC-coated polyester yarn, Snyder’s PCS product is coated after knitting to lock in the yarns for a tougher fabric. Common applications of PCS include agricultural shading, truck tarps and landscaping tarps. The mesh fabric is a popular choice for athletic uses including tennis court windscreens and gym dividers.

The Sundown awning and marine fabric range uses 100 percent solution-dyed fibers. Made to withstand the harshest outdoor weather conditions, it has a tight weave and a 10-year limited warranty.

Woven from Sattler’s Clean, Bright Acrylic (CBA) yarn, new Lumera 3D fabrics provide superior UV protection as well as water repellency—and brilliant color, clarity and shine. CBA yarn, a vibrant, smooth yarn woven in warp and weft directions, creates a textured fabric with a “living” effect in daylight, changing with the light’s mood. The unusual tactile structures, impressive light action effects and increased dirt and water repellency (water column rating of 500 MM) make it a prime outdoor option.

SATTLER CORP.

GF 6090 SunBright^® is a new fabric for backlit silicone edge graphics applications. Compatible with transfer dye-sublimation printing, it provides enhanced light dispersion for brilliant backlit prints. The fabric gives a rich color, has a super soft hand, is wrinkle and craze resistant, easy to sew and features an excellent stretch for a quick install and tight fit in aluminum framing systems. The fabric weighs 6.3 oz/yd² and is stocked 123 inches wide. It is flame-retardant and meets NFPA 701 and California Title 19.

DD 4444 Domination is a strong choice for frontlit SEG applications for retail and tradeshow markets. Very stable, with a gorgeous sheen, the fabric is also excellent for banners, exhibit graphics, photographic backdrops and retail advertising. The material has been specially treated for UV-curable, direct and transfer sublimation printing. It weighs 5.4 oz/yd² and is stocked at 125 inches wide. The fabric is flame-retardant and meets NFPA 701 and Class A under ASTM E 84 (UL 723).
