DuPont Industrial Biosciences broke ground on its new site at the Leiden Bio Science Park in Oegstgeest, the Netherlands. The state-of-the-art facility will utilize the tools of modern biotechnology to make industrial processes more efficient and products more sustainable. The
bio-based solutions created will have an impact on societal issues including reducing food waste, reducing environmental impacts of livestock farming, producing renewable fuels, and lowering environmental impacts in the textile and laundry industries. The capacity of the new site will
create the potential to add 100 jobs. The building will serve as the new EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) headquarters for DuPont division.
