Propex acquired by investment group

A family investment group that specializes in polymer woven and nonwoven fabrics and coatings has acquired all controlling interest in Propex Operating Company LLC’s Propex European operations, which will be renamed Propex Furnishing Solutions. The agreement also includes the rights to purchase the furnishings business in the U.S. Propex Furnishing Solutions’ production and operations facilities in Germany, Hungary and Poland have been suppliers of textile woven and nonwoven polypropylene and polyester fabrics to multiple industries.
