Orchard Yarn acquires Silk City Fibers

Orchard Yarn and Thread Company Inc. has announced the purchase of Silk City Fibers, a manufacturer of high fashion yarns for weaving, knitting, embroidery and crochet. Silk City Fibers offers more than 2,000 colors in 50 luxury and natural fiber yarn styles. The acquisition provides Orchard Yarn with a major growth opportunity that will allow the company to expand its service to the fiber arts community.
