A new $5 million knitwear manufacturing center is being constructed in St. Louis, Mo., to allow brands and retailers to address emerging trends and create fashion manufacturing jobs. Evolution St. Louis’ new manufacturing facility will use cutting-edge 3D and seamless knitting technology. Leading flat knitting machine builder Stoll will install 300 flatbed knitting machines at the facility over the next three years. Upwards of 60 jobs are expected to be created within the first three years of operation.
