Coloreel, with its unique technology for on-demand digital dyeing of textile thread for more sustainable and creative embroideries, closed a new distribution deal with specialized digital printing solutions provider TechnoProgress in Italy. The first step includes sales of one unit of Coloreel’s instant thread coloring equipment to TechnoProgress.

“TechnoProgress opens additional doors for Coloreel in Italy and is a very good next step in Coloreel’s market expansion in this important market,” says Mats Sjögren, Sales Director at Coloreel Group AB.  This new partnership will facilitate new routes to markets related to the digital 3D printing and DTG decoration industry, and give customers the possibility to incorporate something unique into their designs.  We are confident this will give good results for Coloreel, TechnoProgress and their customers.”

Coloreel is a Swedish textile innovation brand with a technology for embroidery that enables high-quality coloring of textile thread on demand. This technology preserves the craftsmanship of embroidery and takes embroidery to the next level. The unique solution makes previously complicated designs accessible, including gradients, textures and other stunning effects. Using only a single thread and needle means that it also significantly improves quality and efficiency, enabling immediate start up and faster delivery

“We believe in the potential of Coloreel’s technology,” says Daniele Torrenti, CEO at TechnoProgress. “It will allow our customers to offer something unique to the market and help them to expand their personalization offering and to grow their business.”

Coloreel is also part of the movement to reduce waste and move the textile industry towards more sustainable production. By coloring the thread directly, there is no wastewater, hence no water pollution. Using a single reel of thread and needle also means minimized thread waste and minimized microfiber pollution.
