Sustainable dark sportswear dyes

Archroma has added two new metal-free and halogen-free acid dyes to its Nylosan^® S range. Dark shades represent approximately 80% of the outdoor and sportswear textile market. The new Nylosan Navy S-3R and Black S-3N, especially developed for polyamides and blends, meet long-standing sustainability and color matching demands for darker colors. Iconic black and navy polyamides of major sportswear brands can finally be perfectly matched with safer dyestuffs and a new signature dyeing system significantly reduces the amount of water and energy used in the dyeing process.
