EcoFlow Technology Inc., a clean-energy manufacturer based in Seattle, Wash., has released the EcoFlow Power Hat, a foldable solar-powered hat that allows users to charge their devices on the go while participating in outdoor activities such as camping, hiking or fishing.
The EcoFlow Power Hat has two output ports—one USB-A port and one USB-C port—that allow users to charge two devices at once, such as phones, headphones or other small devices. It can charge a phone fully in approximately three to four hours. It is IP65 waterproof and crack-, sand- and dust-resistant, making it durable for wet environments and outdoor use.
Weighing only 13 ounces, the hat is lightweight, and it folds for storage. It features an adjustable hook-and-loop strap design inside, so it fits snugly without obstructing a user’s vision. It also maintains the angle of optimal sunlight exposure at all times, eliminating the need to manually adjust the solar panels.
EcoFlow Technology Inc. was founded in 2017 by a group of battery engineers and has more than 500 patented technologies. The company makes portable power stations, solar panels, solar generators, inverter generators and accessories such as the Power Hat.
