
North Carolina State University’s Wilson College of Textiles and the North Carolina Textile Foundation will host a free event—the Spring Break Textiles Trek—March 16–18 for students at the Wilson College of Textiles and West Virginia University.
The three-day event includes visits to multiple textile manufacturers across North Carolina, including UNIFI® Inc., Glen Raven, KARL MAYER, TS Designs and Cone Denim. Students will observe manufacturing operations firsthand and explore the different careers the industry offers, with opportunities to network with business leaders and alumni.
The event is 100% free, with transportation, meals and lodging covered. Spring Break Textiles Trek is sponsored by MMI Textiles, an industrial and custom textiles supplier based in Brooklyn, Ohio.
