A company’s reputation within its local community is important to its short- and long-term success. The City of Mendota Heights, Minn., south of the Twin Cities metropolitan area, recognizes local companies that “enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community.” For the second year running, Minnesota Knitting Mills received the 2016 Best of Mendota Heights Award in the Manufacturers category. Mendota Heights Award Program winners are determined based on information gathered both internally and data provided by third parties. “Recognition is given to those companies that have shown the ability to use their best practices and implemented programs to generate competitive advantages and long-term value,” read the award description.
