The conference, “Managing Today’s Textile Coloration Challenges: From Fiber to Fashion” was held September 13–14 in Charlotte, N.C. Sponsored by the Association of Textile, Apparel & Materials Professionals (AATCC), the conference brought together brands, retailers, mills and suppliers to hear both sides of the story and work together to understand each other’s challenges and propose effective solutions. Conference sessions included Color, Performance, and Cost—the Bermuda Triangle for the Brand/Retailer; What Fibers are You Dyeing and How: Best Practices; Modern Coloration Methods and Sustainability; and Emerging Trends and Markets.
