Labs can now register for all 2025 American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) Proficiency Testing Programs (PTP). Labs can add PTP registration(s) to their cart along with quality control materials, standards and other items. The first registration deadline is Jan. 15, 2025, for the February Fiber Analysis round.

Seven AATCC programs cover test methods and evaluation procedures for antibacterial properties, appearance and physical properties, color evaluation, colorfastness, fiber analysis, moisture management, and resistance and repellency.

How it works:

  1. Labs register for one or more PTPs.
  2. AATCC sends samples, instructions and data sheets to participating labs once per year.
  3. Labs have approximately one month to complete testing and submit results by email.
  4. AATCC distributes a report to participating labs with a confidential lab code.
  5. Each lab receives a certificate of participation.

What’s new

Each program will be offered only once during the calendar year. A complete schedule is posted online.

The registration and payment deadline for all PTPs is the 15th of the month prior to sample distribution. No registrations can be accepted after the deadline to ensure fair and timely processing for all participants.
