Zünd America has announced the appointment of Julian Bösch as the new managing director at Zünd’s Milwaukee, Wis.-based North American headquarters.
A native of Switzerland, he holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from FHS St. Gallen, a Master of Science in entrepreneurship from the University of Liechtenstein and completed business leadership training at IMD Lausanne.
His career began at Ernst & Young AG as an audit assistant before he took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at a small information technology (IT) firm, where he led a team of 12 and managed finances, IT projects and stakeholder relations. In 2017, he joined DOVISTA Windows AG, a multinational manufacturer of windows and doors, where he served as head of finance and controlling. As part of his divisional management responsibilities, he led international teams across Switzerland, Germany, Slovakia and Poland, overseeing financial planning, cost control, reporting and digital transformation efforts. After a major acquisition in 2022, he stepped into a new role supporting executive decision-making and helping to align the group’s commercial and financial strategies across nine European markets.
Now at Zünd America, he brings cross-cultural expertise and leadership experience to guide the organization through its next phase of growth. His focus will be on strengthening Zünd’s market position in multiple industries, supporting customers across North America in all aspects of automation.
