New leadership for Military Division made official at IFAI Expo

On October 17, 2018, during IFAI’s Expo 2018 in Dallas, Texas, the Military Division held its annual open meeting to announce board transitions and the ongoing programs and initiatives of the division.

Leaving his term as chair of the board, Nick Rivera of MMI Textiles is stepping into the role of immediate past chair. Former vice chair Jennifer Fennell of Polo Custom Products will now serve as the chair, and Jeff Papalia of National Industries for the Blind will move to vice chair. Two new board members were also announced for their first three-year terms: Geoff Senko of MMI Textiles and Peter Raneri of HLC Industries.

One of the Military Division’s primary initiatives is to increase industry awareness. This is currently being accomplished with presence at events such as JAPBI, SHOT Show Supplier Showcase and AUSA. The division also hosts sessions at the Outlook Conference called Military Morning—three robust sessions on trending topics in military and textiles.
