Partnership creates dye-sublimation printer RIP solution.
Mutoh America Inc., a leading manufacturer of wide-format printers and cutters, has partnered with ErgoSoft for a RIP solution on its dye-sublimation line of ValueJet printers. The program is exclusive to Mutoh only, through participating dealers.
Beginning this month with printer shipments for the U.S. and Canada, a dongle and DVD will be included in every qualifying printer box at no additional cost. The user will receive a 90-day trial of ErgoSoft RIP software for the Mutoh ValueJet series and will also have access to the ErgoSoft customer portal, which includes educational videos, tips and tricks, package descriptions and features.
Following the trial period, or any time during, the user can opt to purchase the Mutoh series Ergosoft RIP package for 64 percent off the manufacturer’s suggested retail price. There is no user commitment to purchase the software in order to use the free 90 days.
