What is the most significant issue currently for IFAI’s Tent Rental Division (TRD)?

As I see it, the issue now is continuing the momentum of education within our industry. For instance, TRD has been very involved with the state of Kentucky to help them develop their tent codes—which is essentially a result of the 2011 Indiana fair collapse. Kentucky has embraced TRD’s staking study and ballasting study, and surrounding states are watching what Kentucky does as they look to develop their own codes. We need to continue to have a voice and a presence in those discussions so that we maintain the ability for small rental businesses to keep their doors open and not be regulated out of business.
