What is your industry prediction?

Technology is going to change the industry. We’re going to see a shrinking of the number of marine/canvas shops and an increase in the productivity in the shops that remain.

What is your business philosophy?

Build the highest quality product, and get more money than the market will bear because of customer service. Achieve and exceed customer expectations.

What is your secret to success?

Just because something’s always been done one way doesn’t mean it’s the best way to do it. Take all of your world experiences and apply them to your industry.

What is your business strength?

My ability to innovate and stay on the leading edge—to drive the industry rather than be driven.
