Printable fabric wall coverings allow instant redesign

The only thing worse than installing wallpaper is removing it, but the days of seams and glues—and maybe even paint—may be over, if Lokai ! Design’s printable fabric wall coverings take hold. Lokai ! Design, Dietzenbach, Germany, installs a tenter frame system on walls or ceilings, which are then covered with digitally printed Mediatex® Presto fabric manufactured by Junkers & Müllers GmbH, Mönchengladbach, Germany.

The wall covering systems even out imperfections in the wall surface and insulate from heat and cold. Perhaps the greatest advantage, however, is that the fabric motif can be changed often, allowing restaurants, cafes or public buildings to update or restyle with ease.
