Stafford Textiles Ltd., Toronto, Ontario, Canada, introduces Grandform #6803 Digitex Soft Plus. This 10 ounce, PVC coated cloth is designed for excellent ink holdout in solvent printing. Stafford’s Lightweight PVC is designed to be very strong yet tight. It is available in white face/white back, and will soon be available in white face/black back. It prints well (solvent and UV), welds nicely and is designed as an interim solution in the move from standard 10-ounce vinyl to woven PE.

Stafford offers two versions of Woven PE: lightweight in white face/grey back matte or white face/white back matte in 126 ounce; and a heavier, stronger version. The company’s woven PE products are recommended for use with UV printing.

Grandform # 7835 Digitex Superior is environmentally sensitive, PVC free, 100 percent woven polyester and coated on both sides with a polyurethane acrylic coating to enhance solvent ink holdout. A two-sided canvas style cloth for digital printing, it is manufactured without using heavy metals, pesticides, bleaching agents or glycol ether, and it has no carcinogenic coloring agents.
