Cooley, Formetco join forces

Cooley Group formed CF Solar LLC, a joint venture with Formetco Inc. The new company will combine flexible composites with thin film flexible photovoltaic solar panels, EcoSeries LED lighting systems and Smart Link controllers to create a new energy saving system.

The CF Solar system includes equipment for integration to the electrical grid for billboards, signs, awnings and transit shelter applications. CF Solar will provide complete battery systems for areas that do not have access to electrical power. These systems will generate clean renewable energy. Excess electricity will be sold back to local utility companies through net metering or feed-in tariff programs.
