An improved version of TenCate Defender™ M flame-resistant fabric has been designed for the U.S. Marine Corps, designed for improved durability and protection on the battlefield, especially from burn injuries caused by IEDs. The additional durability adds to a fabric already selected by the military for its overall performance in terms of flame resistance, durability, comfort and cost. Ongoing improvements also include adding a mosquito repellent for troops in Iraq, and a new printed camouflage pattern for troops deployed to Afghanistan.
