Superior Sample Co. of Ligonier, Ind., a national leader in swatch sampling services, has announced several new marketing initiatives for the 2011 calendar year and beyond.
“We’ve survived over fifty years through various recessions, but the recent down economy has seriously affected our philosophy of how we market ourselves,” stated Peggy Daniels, president and co-owner. “We used to rely heavily on repeat business and referrals, but with the Internet allowing customers to find alternative suppliers in a much easier way than in the past, we’re seeing a need to rethink our approach.”
On Jan. 3, Superior Sample Co. launched a new corporate website and corporate video. Apart from modernization of design, the site features a much greater representation of the services and products offered. There are plans for additional support materials to be created, such as a customer login area on the site which provides production status updates on their orders along with shipment tracking.
