We traced the Xuron split ring pliers to the Xuron Corp. They told us that the split ring pliers are mostly used in the jewelry industry to attach small rings. An example might be putting charms on a charm bracelet, or adding a pendant to a necklace. Xuron also reports that the tool has been used for a variety of other applications, such as attaching fishing lures.
