Robert Ray Dennis Sr., 75, died at his home in Uhrichsville, Ohio, on September 17, 2012, of cancer. Dennis retired from a successful career at Snyder Manufacturing Inc., Dover, Ohio, a manufacturer of laminated fabric, coated mesh and extruded films. He was a decorated U.S. Air Force veteran, an avid collector of antique and classic cars, a life member of his local Elks and Masonic Lodges and a well-regarded industry figure. “When I first started in the industry, Bob unconditionally took me under his wing,” says Jeff Sponseller of Miller Weldmaster Corp. Dennis is survived by his wife of 55 years, DiAnna “Polly” Paulene Dennis, son Robert Dennis Jr., grandchildren and other family members.
