Crypton acquires Nano-Tex

For 20 years, Crypton Inc., Bloomfield Hills, Mich., has manufactured environmentally friendly performance fabrics with stain resistance, moisture management and antimicrobial properties for health care, hospitality, commercial and residential applications. In a strategic move to expand into the performance apparel market, Crypton has acquired Nano-Tex®, with its nanotechnology performance finishes that provide apparel qualities ranging from water resistance to odor control to static elimination. Nano-Tex works with clothing manufacturers such as GAP, Maidenform, Nordstrom and Land’s End to enhance products’ performance features.
