OEKO-TEX STeP webinar online

Industry News | February 1, 2014 | By:

Earlier this year, the International OEKO-TEX® Association introduced its STeP certification, a voluntary, independent certification that evaluates a textile production facility’s sustainability in six key areas: quality management, environmental management, social responsibility, safety, environmental performance and chemical management. A webinar available for viewing at any time on the OEKO-TEX website describes the new certification for facilities. The association is best known for its OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification for textile products that have been tested for more than 300 substances considered harmful to human health. The STeP certification of textile production facility sustainability, coupled with the Standard 100 certification for textile products, can reassure customers, elevate a company’s profile and provide marketing advantages. Watch the webinar at OEKO-TEX®.
