Outdoor Venture purchases Sotera Engineered Solutions

Outdoor Venture Corp., Stearns, Ky., a supplier and contractor of military tent systems, components and accessories to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), has acquired Sotera Defense Solutions’ Engineered Solutions division. The division delivers services and components for expeditionary systems, such as field kitchens and sanitary equipment, for the U.S. military. The acquisition will enable Outdoor Venture to enhance its product offerings to the DoD, and the company expects to add engineering and manufacturing jobs at its Kentucky location in the next two years. This transaction will allow Sotera, a Herndon, Va.-based national security technology partner to the U.S. government, to focus on national security technology solutions and accelerate growth in national security, intelligence and law enforcement missions.
