Trelleborg Group purchases Uretek Archer

The Trelleborg Group, Lodi Vecchio, Italy, a producer of engineered polymer-coated fabrics to protect critical systems in aerospace, automotive, recreation and fluid-handling sectors, enhanced its Trelleborg Coated Systems business by acquiring Uretek Archer LLC Group, consisting of Uretek LLC, a specialist in heat-sealable polyurethane-coated fabrics (New Haven, Conn.), and Archer Rubber Company LLC, a manufacturer of engineered coated fabrics (Milford, Mass.). Applications for Uretek’s fabrics include inflatable products for aerospace, medical and recreational uses. Archer provides butyl-coated and lightweight neoprene fabrics for slides, rafts and life vests.
