Sunbrella® partners with U.S. sailing team

Olympic hopefuls’ hulls and sails will feature Sunbrella fabric.

Sunbrella has partnered with U.S. sailing team Sperry Top-Sider as a Gold-level sponsor of the country’s Olympic and Paralympic sailing team. It will also be named as a presenting sponsor of the ISAF Sailing World Cup Miami.

Sunbrella has offered marine products since the 1970s, producing innovative canvas and fabrics that are easy to maintain and weather-resistant, also carrying the Skin Cancer Foundation’s Seal of Recommendation. Its fabric will be used for the hulls and sails of the sailing team’s athletes as they train for the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
