Sunbrella Fabrics, Glen Raven, N.C., has announced its first shade fabric engineered for shade sail applications.

Sunbrella Contour is the first knit Sunbrella shade fabric, featuring a rich texture with the unique ability to fit to any shape and angle, making it usable for a variety of applications such as shade sails, fixed awnings, shade structures, windscreens, umbrellas, cabanas, pavilions and marine applications.

The fiber and yarn technology emphasizes the fabric’s rich color in 15 stylish colorways. Sunbrella Contour also provides an attractive diffusion of light while offering a high level of UV protection. The fabric will be on display in Booth 1542 at IFAI Expo 2015 in Anaheim, Calif., Oct. 6–9.
