Designtex Acoustic Sheers drapery collections include three patterns (Baleen, Glace and Lumin) in a variety of colors designed for translucency and engineered for sound dampening. Pairing light transmission and acoustic absorption creates opportunities for window treatments and enclave walls that can help contain noise without blocking light. Installed folded, Baleen has a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of .60 while Glace and Lumin have NRCs of .70 and .65 respectively. The draperies perform best in the frequency range of 500–2000 Hz, the range of the human voice.
