The massive windows at U.S. Bank Stadium will need curtains to block out the sunlight during the NCAA Final Four, according to the Star Tribune. Two days after the Super Bowl, on February 6 Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority (MSFA) Chairman Mike Vekich sought plans for the design, manufacture, installment and testing of “blackout curtain drapery” for the stadium, which has 200,000 square feet of glass to be covered, that will also be reusable for other events, including concerts. Although no price range for the project has been announced, it is expected to come out of MSFA’s 2018 budget for building improvements, which is $7.25 million.
